Q: What are the side effects of Ultimate Formula?
A: Some of our customers do notice changes when they start taking this product. The most commonly reported side effects include dry mouth, increased sweating, interrupted sleep and significant decrease in appetite. Most report that these subside after their body adjusts to the ingredients. Adjustment times vary with each individual, which is why we recommend starting with one capsule for the first 5 days then increasing to 2 capsules daily.

Q: Am I going to have constant bowel movements?
A: The first month you begin taking the capsules you will have more frequent bowel movements. Please understand that the reason some people have weight issues are because of the harmful toxins we are exposed to everyday. These toxins slow down the metabolic process. Once the body rids itself of these harmful toxins, your regular schedule should return.

Q: How do I know if these pills are working?
A: Within the first week of taking this product, you should notice that your eating habits change. You start craving less sugar and eating less.

Q: How long can I take the Ultimate Formula and Classic Zi Xiu Tang?
A: We recommend that you take either of these formulas for no more than 4 consecutive months. After 4 months, don’t take any of the supplements for one full month.  By giving your system a complete break, our customers report that they achieve better results when returning to Ultimate or Classic.

Q: Can I take three capsules per day?
A: The manufacturer recommends that you take two capsules daily when using the Ultimate or Classic formula. We do not recommend otherwise.

Q: How many capsules are in one bottle?
A: Ultimate Formula- 48 capsules. If you follow our recommendation of taking one capsule for the first week so your body will adjust to the ingredients, the first bottle will last one full month. Subsequent bottles will last 24 days if you take 2 capsules per day.

Classic Zi Xiu Tang- 60 capsules. One full month supply.

Extra Strength Zi Xiu Tang- 60 capsules. One full month supply.

Q: Do I have to exercise?
A: A benefit of this supplement is that you do not have to exercise to see results. Exercise is key however, to improved cardiovascular health and overall wellbeing.

Q: Will I gain the weight back after I stop using these supplements?
A: No. However, there a few things to know so that you avoid weight returning after suspending use. It’s important that you eat three meals or five small meals daily, so that you will regain and maintain your metabolism. Also, you will need to monitor your eating habits and not return to unhealthy eating habits. Many will move on to using the Extra Strength maintenance formula, to assist in maintaining their weight and continue with other benefits from the product such as energy, skin clarity, and lowering cholesterol levels.

Q: It has been a month and I have not lost anything? Am I doing something wrong?
A: It’s unlikely that you are doing something wrong. For some the process is slower than others. Most likely, you have a slow metabolism and need more time to regain control. There have been many reports from our customers, stating it was not until they were in their second bottle that they started to see weight loss.

Q: I have been using this product for a couple weeks and I have not lost anything, but notice my clothes are fitting better. Why is that?
A: Many will see loss in inches, especially in the waistline, before they notice any weight loss. Keep using the supplement regularly and you will eventually starting see weight loss. Toning factors are involved with using these supplements. Regular exercise will enhance the toning benefit.

A: Yes, it may help to take your preferred supplement by using it for four days and then taking three days off.  This seems to give many a consistent reboot. Upon completion of this third bottle, it may benefit you to take your one month off at this point.

A: You do not. You should continue your regular eating habits. This product helps to reduce your appetite. It is advised that you include some protein in your daily diet. Protein allows the metabolism to speed up, thereby increasing weight loss.

Q: Do you suggest any foods to decrease or increase, while cleansing to achieve maximum results?
A: Yes. Under the description for the Ultimate Formula, you will find a link called Benefits of Cleansing. This will assist you in making smart choices to help you maximize your cleansing process.

Q: Can I drink alcohol?
A: Yes, but you will severely inhibit your results if you consume alcohol regularly while taking any of these supplements.

Q: How does this product benefit my skin? Will it clear my acne?
A: The benefits of this product are incredible! Not only will you lose weight, you will also have smooth and clear skin. One of the ingredients in this product is Lotus Seed, which has long been revered in Asia for its “age-defying” qualities.

Q: Will my medications interfere with using any of these supplements?

A: Weight gain is a possible side effect of nearly all antidepressants. However, each person responds to an antidepressant differently. Some people gain weight when taking a certain antidepressant while others don’t. Results have varied with regards to loss when using both. Exercise must play a key role in your weight loss planning, otherwise you will simply be maintaining.

Q: What if I have Hypothyroidism?
A: The Ultimate and Classic formulas have shown great success for many suffering from Hypothyroidism. The best practice when using one of those formulas in conjunction with your Synthroid, is to take them separately. Synthroid should not be taken with other medications, so best practice is to take your Synthroid first and wait two hours before taking your preferred supplement.

Q: Will any of the ingredients in these supplements reduce the effectiveness of my oral contraceptive?
A: None of the ingredients listed in our products show any interaction on the effectiveness of birth control. However, while researching this topic, literature identifies a few herbs that could alter the effectiveness of oral contraceptives.  Here is a list to keep as a reference.

Q: Why does my Ultimate Formula not have red Chinese writing or authentication verification by coding?
A: This product is NOT manufactured or does NOT have any association with Guangzhou Zi Xiu Tang Bio-Technology Company. The Ultimate Formula does not follow the same guidelines for counterfeit. The Ultimate Formula does not have an authentication verification system and you will not find any Chinese writing in red. Please refer to our Counterfeit Education page for more information.

Q: Where are these products manufactured?
A: All of our supplements are manufactured in China. A certificate of analysis is provided with every shipment entering the United States. Once the product reaches the United States, an extra step is taken to ensure our product is safe and true to formula. How to get more exercise without really trying

“It’s a fact that our society just doesn’t get out and move like we used to. Groceries get delivered, we hit the drive thru for everything from the bank to the pharmacy and we get dinner dropped off right at our front door the only problem with all this convenience? The human body was not designed for sitting on its butt all day. The more you sit the more likely a candidate you become for heart disease, high blood pressure, obesity and diabetes. The longer you remain inactive the harder it is to get your body up and moving again after all a body in motion tends to stay in motion so wouldn’t the opposite be true as well? It may feel that between the commute to work and the longer hours behind a desk you just don’t have time to get moving but there are plenty of ways to sneak a little activity into your daily routine and the best part is even short bursts of regular activity can have a tremendous effect on your overall health.

According to prevention magazine a recent study found that just 15 10-minute intervals of exercise a week could significantly increase aerobic fitness, flexibility, strength and endurance. The best part is that this is an easy fitness regimen to commit to. No trips to the gym no expensive equipment to buy you don’t even have to wake up early just make a commitment to finding little ways to work a few more minutes of activity into your normal routine. The following tips will help inspire you to get up and moving both at home and at the office.

1.The next time you have a meeting with one or two other people at work suggest that you take your talk for a walk around the building not only will you all get some much needed exercise but you will feel much more alert for your meeting.

2. Replace your chair with an exercise ball. Not only will you improve your balance and posture but you will get a great core engaging workout.

3. At least once an hour stand up and stretch. Take this opportunity to walk to the water cooler or the restroom you’ll keep your blood flowing and tack on a minute of exercise to your daily total.

4.When you get home from work take a quick walk around the block before dinner.

5. First thing in the morning do a few minutes of jumping jacks or run in place. The activity will help wake you up and will get your day off to the right start.

6. Play with your children. The next time you find your kids in the yard playing ball join in the game. A game of tag is another great way to enjoy family time while getting exercise.

7. If you are watching TV at night put down the remote and change the channel manually. Better yet spend every commercial break doing squats, sit-ups or push-up. This way you can get about 15 minutes of exercise per each one hour TV program.

8. Don’t forget to make it fun. Dance around your bedroom when no one’s watching, walk to the store for a new magazine, exercise is about rewarding yourself with better health not punishing yourself.

There is no escaping it, you have to put in a little effort if you want to maintain your health and your waistline but that doesn’t mean you have to live at the gym. Small changes can lead to big pay offs so take the stairs, park in the furthest spot and smile because the new fitter you is worth it.

9 Tips on How to Drink More Water

Many health experts will agree that drinking more water will help give you more energy. Here are my personal tricks on drinking more water. 

* Make it a Morning Ritual. I once read in a magazine article that many of us wake up dehydrated, and the first thing you should do before you do anything else is drink two glasses of water. I’ve now made it a regular morning habit, and it inspires the momentum to continue drinking more for the rest of the day.

* Add Some Lemon. Back in the early stages when I couldn’t stand drinking water, I squeezed lemon juice into my water. At restaurants, I would ask the servers to provide lemon slices with my water–which makes me sound snobby, but most restaurants are willing and expected to provide this service.

* Keep it In the Clear. When your urine is clear, you are properly hydrated. When your urine is a dark yellow, you are definitely dehydrated.

* Think of How Pretty You’ll Look. I don’t know how direct the correlation is between having healthy, glowing skin and drinking a lot of water, but I’m not taking any chances. Whatever psychological trick keeps me hydrated!

* Do It Like It’s Hot. If you’re in the mood for a hot drink, drink heated water. Sometimes we just want the psychological pleasure that comes with having a hot mug cupped in our hands than the actual drink itself. Plus, coffee and tea contain caffeine, which is a diuretic and elevates the rate of water being expelled from your body via urination.

* Drink When You Have a Munchie Attack. Sometimes our hunger is thirst masquerading as fake hunger. Drinking a cup or two of water will make you feel “full.”

*Take Baby Steps. Don’t expect to go from zero glasses of water to the full 8 glasses overnight. Start with one glass of water in the morning and one glass of water at night, and build your way up from there.

* Cheap cheap. Water at restaurants are FREE!

* Always have a full glass of water near you when you are working. It will give you something to mindlessly sip on when you are brainstorming or need something to do with your hands.

Walk First, Stretch Later

Forget stretching to limber up before your fitness walking. Instead, walk at an easy pace for five or ten minutes until you’re warm before kicking into high gear walking for exercise.
When you finish your walking session, do at least three static, not bouncing stretches for 30 seconds on each leg.

Healthy Heart Exercise

Whether you have been diagnosed with heart problems or just want to prevent them, exercise is very beneficial for heart health. What type of exercise Is best? Here is a list of healthy heart exercise taken from Medicinenet: Exercise can be divided into three basic types:

* Stretching: slow lengthening of the muscles. Stretching the arms and legs before and after exercising helps prepare the muscles for activity and helps prevent injury and muscle strain. Regular stretching also increases your range of motion and flexibility.
* Cardiovascular or aerobic: steady physical activity using large muscle groups. This type of exercise strengthens the heart and lungs and improves the body’s ability to use oxygen. Aerobic exercise has the most benefits for your heart. Over time, aerobic exercise can help decrease your heart rate and blood pressure and improve your breathing.
* Strengthening: repeated muscle contractions (tightening) until the muscle becomes tired. For people with heart failure, many strengthening exercises are not recommended. (See below)
Before you start any heart healthy exercise program check with your doctor to make sure it is safe for your condition and don’t overdo it at first. Walking is one of the safest heart healthy exercises and it doesn’t require special equipment. So get a buddy and start a walking program.
